Once an individual has successfully completed Lap Band Laparoscopy, they are likely to go home the same day and return to work in a few days following their recovery period.
Patients will be restricted to a liquid diet at first, but then are permitted to eat softer foods before going back to more of a normal diet.
On average, patients who undergo Lap Band Laparoscopy more often than not witness approximately a 60 percent loss of excess weight.
